Stellar wallets and vault access

A compatible Stellar wallet is needed to interact with Soroban vault contracts. Use a wallet supported by the application and confirm every transaction carefully.

Freighter and LOBSTR

Freighter and LOBSTR are examples of Stellar wallet products mentioned in coverage of the Stellar DeFi Hub interface. Compatibility, device support and connection flows may change over time.

Install wallets only from their verified publishers. The documentation site does not ask for seed phrases, private keys or wallet permissions.

Network and asset verification

Stellar-issued tokens such as USDC and PYUSD are not interchangeable with similarly named tokens on another blockchain. Check issuer details, network, transaction simulation and the intended vault contract before transferring funds.

Transaction review checklist

  1. Use the verified application URL.
  2. Confirm that the selected vault accepts your asset.
  3. Review spending approvals, recipient and contract details.
  4. Keep sufficient XLM for fees and network account requirements.
  5. Never enter a recovery phrase into a vault interface.
