Withdrawals and early exit rules

Learn why withdrawing principal and withdrawing rewards can be different actions depending on the vault product.

2026 campaign principal withdrawal

The Stellar DeFi Hub incentive vault terms described deposits as withdrawable, including partial withdrawals. However, an early exit caused forfeiture of rewards accrued on the amount withdrawn before the campaign close.

The XLM campaign ended 9 November 2026; the USDC and PYUSD periods ended 19 November 2026, at 18:00 UTC. Do not assume these historical windows govern a new programme.

Claiming accumulated rewards

Campaign rewards are distinct from deposit principal. Claimable balances may become available after the programme ends and distribution data is published. The interface, rather than a static guide, should indicate whether a reward action is available.

Strategy vault redemption

Evergreen or strategy-based vaults can impose separate redemption processing, withdrawal windows and liquidity constraints. The Upshift Sentora USDC vault has described a 24-hour period, but live terms may change.

Before exiting

  1. Inspect the position and amount to be withdrawn.
  2. Check reward forfeiture and any cooldown or redemption delay.
  3. Review the transaction details in the connected wallet.
  4. Verify final balances and any remaining position.

Key takeaways

  • Campaign principal withdrawal and reward claims are separate concepts.
  • Early exit from 2026 campaigns affected reward eligibility.
  • Strategy-vault redemptions may follow their own timelines.
